Privacy policy.
Plain-English summary first. Legal version below. If the two disagree, the plain-English version is what we actually do and the legal version is the one a court would enforce.
- We collect the minimum we need: address, condition answers, and contact info if and only if you submit it to us.
- We never sell your personal information. Ever. Not to ad networks, not to data brokers, not to a buyer without your consent.
- When you accept an offer, we share your info with the specific buyer you're closing with. That's the only time your info leaves us.
- We log TCPA consent on every form submission: timestamp, IP, user-agent, and the version of the disclosure you saw.
- We don't run cross-site tracking pixels. We don't use session replay. We don't track you after you leave the site.
- You can ask us to delete your data at any time. privacy@geteasycashoffer.com. We comply within 30 days.
What we collect
When you use the offer estimator: the property address, the condition answers you provide, and any situation/timeline context you enter. This is collected to generate the offer — it's required for the service to work.
When you submit a contact form or list-with-agent form: name, phone, email, and the other fields on that form. Collected with your explicit consent (checkbox, never pre-checked).
Server logs: IP address, user-agent, and referrer, on every page view. Used for TCPA-compliant consent logging and basic abuse detection. Retained for 24 months.
Analytics: anonymized page-view data via Google Analytics 4. We do NOT enable Google's ad-personalization features. You can opt out via browser extension or Do Not Track.
What we do with it
Address and condition answers: to generate your cash offer and route it to the right buyer in our network if you accept.
Contact info: to connect you with a specific buyer (if you accept the offer) or a specific agent (if you use the list-with-agent form). Nobody calls you otherwise.
Server logs: to prove TCPA consent if a dispute arises. These are sensitive and we protect them like a bank protects transaction logs.
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not retarget you across the web. We do not build a profile of you for sale or exchange.
Who we share it with
The specific buyer you accept an offer from. They need your address to close the deal. They receive your contact info only after you explicitly accept.
The specific agent you're matched with through the list-with-agent form. Same rule: only after you submit the form and consent.
Service providers we use to operate the site (hosting, email delivery, database). These have contracts requiring them to handle your data per this policy. We only share the minimum they need to do their job.
Law enforcement or regulators: only when compelled by a valid subpoena, warrant, or court order. We publish a transparency report if we ever receive one.
Your state rights
California (CCPA/CPRA): You can request a copy of the data we hold on you, ask us to delete it, or opt out of 'sale' (we don't sell, but you can still opt out). Request at privacy@geteasycashoffer.com.
Illinois (BIPA): We do not collect biometric identifiers. The estimator is fully text-based; there is no facial, voice, or fingerprint data in our system.
Other states: If your state grants similar rights, we comply. Email us and we'll treat your request the same way we'd treat a California request.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for session management and form state. No third-party advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking cookies.
We do not show a cookie banner because we do not use cookies that require consent under GDPR or CCPA. If that changes, a banner will appear.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have, we delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we update this policy, the 'Effective' date at the top changes and we log the diff. Material changes are emailed to anyone who has submitted a form on the site.
